Oldmac Card Policy for Payments

 

Important Information regarding card payments as of October 1, 2026

As you may be aware, the Australian Government's changes to card payment surcharges will take effect from 1 October 2026.

As a result of these changes to the Dealerships settlement procedures & to ensure compliance, we are implementing the following card payment policy across all sites effective from 1 October 2026.

American Express:

• We will no longer accept American Express (Amex) payments.

Card Limits:

• The maximum card payment permitted for any vehicle settlement is $5,000 per vehicle.

• The $5,000 can be utilized as the initial deposit or part of the final settlement.

Note: The combined total of any card payment used for the initial deposit and any card contribution towards the final settlement cannot exceed $5,000 per vehicle sale.
